Simple arrangements that stay fair
Not every partnership involves shared delivery. A ServiceNow-focused firm may meet a customer who needs help with AI or with a Salesforce project and wants a trustworthy place to send them. Two firms may find that their offerings complement each other and would like to present them together. These arrangements should be straightforward.
Referrals
If you refer a customer to us for an AI project or a Salesforce project, we agree in advance how the referral will be handled, how the customer will be told and what recognition or fee, if any, applies. We keep it brief and written. We will not contact a referred customer in a way you have not agreed to.
If we refer a customer to you, we follow the same principles. A referral should never leave the customer wondering why they were passed along.
Alliances
An alliance is lighter than co-delivery. Two firms agree to recommend each other where appropriate, share relevant information and coordinate when a customer needs both. A common example is a ServiceNow firm that allies with us for AI: the customer’s ServiceNow work stays with the partner, and we advise on AI use cases, data readiness and evaluation. Another is a Salesforce firm that wants a ServiceNow-capable partner for a customer’s service management needs.
Principles we apply to both
- Transparency. Any commercial terms are written and understood by both sides.
- Customer respect. The customer’s interests come first.
- No lock-in. Either party may step back with reasonable notice.
- Confidentiality. Information shared in the relationship stays inside it.
