Most partnerships in technology do not fail because the people involved are bad at their jobs. They fail because nobody wrote down who was responsible for what. A customer asks a question and two firms each assume the other will answer it. A deadline slips and each side has a reasonable explanation that the other side has never heard. By the time anyone notices, the customer has lost confidence in both.
Oblytech Partners exists to make partnerships work by doing the unglamorous part first. Before any project starts, we sit down with the partner and agree who owns each task, who speaks to the customer, how progress is reported, and what happens when something goes wrong. We write it down in plain language, and we keep it visible for the life of the engagement.
We work with technology vendors, consulting firms, resellers and implementation companies that need dependable extra capacity or specialist skills, and that want to keep their own customer relationships intact. You stay in front of your customer. We work alongside you, under the standards and the engagement model you already use.
Which firm is responsible for each workstream, and what is explicitly outside it.
Partners usually come to us for one of four reasons. They have won work and need more delivery capacity than they can hire in time. They need a specialist for a defined stretch of a project. They want to combine their offering with ours on a shared engagement. Or they simply want a reliable second pair of hands they can call when a project gets busy.
Whichever it is, our approach is the same: understand your customer and your standards, agree the roles, and then deliver with regular, honest reporting.
A partnership with clear roles is quieter than one without. There are fewer urgent calls, fewer surprises in status meetings and fewer awkward conversations about who should have caught an issue. That quiet is the point. It gives everyone, including the customer, room to concentrate on the work.
If you are considering a delivery partner, or you already have one and want a second option, we would be glad to talk.
Tell us about your customers, your delivery model and where you feel stretched. We will tell you honestly whether
we are a good fit, and if we are not, we will say so.
